Yee Haw Birthday Girl

I did these pops for a friend's daughter who had her birthday party at a horse farm. Cowgirl hat cake pops for her 7th birthday (hence the 7 on the hat). They were so much fun to make and I bet you can't guess what the brim of the hat is??? Well, it's a chocolate covered Pringle. Which I discovered are very tasty! Hope you had a great birthday Cowgirl P!!

Senior Prom

I did this order for a pre party for a high school Senior Prom. I decided not to do it in the school colors because I wanted it to be kind of fancy for the special night. So, I stuck with black, silver, white and gold.

I did some pops for a friend who's daughter wanted Nemo for her 3rd birthday party! It was so fun to come up with this. She thought of putting them in a fish bowl with blue tissue paper, which was the perfect touch! I hope you had a great birthday A!!

Say it in Cake Pops!

A friend of mine's very sweet husband ordered her some cake pops after she'd had a long hard week. So, I decided it would be cute to write "I Love You" on them! Then, she turned around and ordered some to congratulate a friend on qualifying for the Boston Marathon! So, do you have something to say to someone??? Why not say it in cake pops. Whether it's Congratulations, I Love You, Happy Birthday or anything else, they'll love the message and then get to enjoy the yummy treat.

Sports Banquet

I did this arrangement for a high school girls basketball team for their end of the season party. It was done in their school colors and was used as the centerpiece for the dessert table. It could be done for any kind of sports team and can be customized to meet your needs!

St. Patricks's Day- Pot of Gold!

I can hardly believe it's March already! Seems like it just turned 2011. If you love to celebrate St. Patrick's day or want a cute little treat for your kids, how about a pot of gold! Gold Cake balls that is. Your kids would be thrilled to come home from school to these cute little pots filled with "gold" mini cake balls. Each pot has four mini balls, which is equal to one regular ball. $2.50 per pot with no minimum order but you must place your order by March 12th for pick up on the 16th. The flavor will be vanilla unless of course you want to special order by the dozen and then of course the flavor choice is yours. Or if you'd prefer normal size cake balls, I can always do a bouquet of green pops or some green cake balls!

Idea for Baptism or Christening celebration

I did this bouquet for a friend that wanted to take some Cake Pops to her Bible Study meeting. She wanted heart shapes but other than that, she gave me free reign. So I decided it would be cute to put some crosses on them. I think this would be perfect for a party to celebrate a Baptism or Christening, or even Confirmation. You could use them as the dessert or even give them as favors. Or better yet, put name tags on the sticks to use as place seatings.

Thank you!!

Valentine's day has come and gone and I want to thank everyone for their orders! You all helped make Sweet Cravings' first holiday a big success! Here are a few orders I did. A bouquet for a teacher gift.

This was a tray of Cake Balls for a class party.

I also hit some after holiday sales and got some cute stuff for next year. Check out these plastic lip containers that could hold 3-4 cake balls- how cute are those gonna be!!

"Congratulations on your Baby" gift

A friend of mine wanted to order some pink cake balls for a friend that found out she was execting a baby girl. This baby girl is very special because there was a chance of some heart problems, but she was cleared by the cardiologist- praise God!! So, my friend had the idea to order pink heart shaped cake balls as a Congratulations gift to her friend and this is what I did for her. A dozen heart shapes in 2 different colors of pink with a white drizzle. They are packaged in a silver tin lined with pink tissue and white paper shred and the tin is tied with pink tulle ribbon with a "congratulations" tag tied on. Do you have a friend that just had a baby or just found out the sex? I can do it in blue as well for boys or even half pink and half blue for boy/girl twins! (yep, seeing as I have them, can't leave that out!!). What a fun way to say congratulations! And yummy too!

It's almost Valentines Day!!

Which means you need to get your orders in for Cake Balls and Cake Pops for your kids, your special someone or even just a treat for yourself!! They will come in Valentines colors and can even be heart shaped! The flavor is your choice but of course my suggestion would be red velvet! If you don't care for red velvet I can always color white cake pink! If you don't want a bouquet, a dozen pops or balls is $18. If you'd like all heart shapes, it will be $20. For the bouquets, I will do half hearts and half regular for $25. I can do a vase with a pretty ribbon or a cute container depending on who they are for. Check out the photos.

Open for Business!

Well, it's official, Sweet Cravings is open for business. I am so exited about this new venture and thrilled to see where it takes me. I love baking, decorating and ALL things cake! I found out about cake pops thru the blog of a lady that calls herself Bakerella. She is amazing to say the least. As soon as I saw her cake pops, I had to try them out and man are they just about the most delicious treat I've tasted. You certainly can't go wrong with cake, mixed with frosting and then dipped in chocolate. I've made many a cake ball since discovering her blog and then when the coveted Bakerella Cake Pop book came in the mail, I knew I had to try the pops. Oh, the many shapes and such you can do with cake balls and cake pops. I tried the turkey shaped ones at Thanksgiving and did the Santa hat ones for a trip to the Polar Express. I had thought about doing this as a home business and then, a friend asked if I wanted to make some for her to give as teacher gifts. So, I made several cute Christmas Cake Pop bouquets and I was hooked! So, here I go.......sprinkles, cake mixes and lollipop sticks in hand, ready for all of you to give in to your Sweet Cravings!!
